Matt Barnes recently expressed frustration with his Free Agency. His cimplaint, and I quote:

“I was talking to a lot of people who were telling me that I needed a big-time agent to get that big money. That’s the main reason I decided to change agents

Big time money? Matt Barnes? I mean, great job of improving this past year and for the first time in your life establishing yourself as an every day player. But big time money? For one year of 9.8 ppg, 4.6 rpg basketball? When your previous career year high was 4.5 ppg? Do you really think you’ve proven yourself enough to warrant big time money?

I used to have respect for Matt Barnes. He worked hard and did so quietly. He’s been a little “high maintenance” this past year though. And if he really thinks he’s worth “big time money”, then he overvalues himself as well.
