Beijing 2008
I have to say, I was somewhat impressed by the opening ceremonies last night. The combination of technical jazz and human choreography was impressive. I did find it somewhat odd that in the opening they had 2008 drummers, when the Chinese calendar is so drastically different than ours, without even having a continuous year model. I guess it fits with the theme, though.
